The San Antonio River Giant Postcard
Friday, December 30, 2011 at 5:36PM Today's post is in participation of "Postcard Friendship Friday #96" over at The Best Hearts Are Crunchy. Be sure to swing over there for some great bloggers posting great postcards today!
This is my first post of a linen postcard that is this large in size. 6.5" x 9" to be exact! I've got two in my collection. I'll post the other one later on. This is a beautiful example of postcards at this size with such rich color and tight registration.

Too little time, Brian. As 2011 comes to an end, I haven't forgotten your generosity - And a wonderful card. I wonder if anyone has ever framed these things?
This is a wonderful card, I love the linen cards, but this is exceptional. Have a Happy New Year.
Good to hear from you Dave. I noticed you've been very busy over on your blog. Very beautiful work as always! I wondered the same thing also on framing them. It crossed my mind more than once handling it.
And thanks Irene! I'm definitely going to try to find more of these. Happy New Year everyone!
Great card, but I was a little disappointed!...I sooo wanted to see the "San Antonio River Giant" postcard! :D Happy New Year!
That is huge! But it's a beautiful picture, so it's lovely to have the full detail.
Ah, the San Antonio River Walk....I was there last summer. I don't have a single linen card of this size, and I'm not sure I've ever seen one! What is this size called amongst collectors, "giants"?
Now that would make a great postcard Steve! I'm on the hunt for more of these for sure Sheila. I would hope there's another name for them Mark because there's also a 5x7 or so size out there that can make things confusing when you're looking for this larger version.
