1984 20-Cent Louisiana World Exposition Postage Stamp

The stamp I'm featuring today is from 1984.  This stamp was in celebration of the opening of the Louisiana World Exposition which was themed "The World of Rivers - Fresh Water as a Source of Life." The issue date was May 11, 1984 with a released of 130,320,000 stamps.

Thanks for sharing these stamps.

I'm glad to share that here in the Philippines is vigilant to protect our marshes and lagoons so the migratory birds would keep on coming. Made me remember that and smile when I saw these stamps. :D
